2. Always use mouthwash
Using mouthwash will help clean our mouth thoroughly. Can wash away bacteria and food particles along gum line, tongue, cheeks, etc. It also keep breath fresh.
3. Avoid frequent intake of certain food and certain beverages
Food and beverages like tea, coffee, soft drinks, sweets and candies are often the source of oral health problems. It is impossible to stop eating all together, but reducing the consumption of theses will be helpful in maintaining good oral health. Also, patient should brush teeth as soon as possible after consuming these types of food and beverages.
4. Dental floss is very useful
Some people may have never tried using dental floss, but it is one of the most effective ways to remove food scraps in between teeth, because there are some areas where toothbrush cannot brush thoroughly. Using dental floss will help reduce the accumulation of bacteria which is the source of bad breath, tooth decay, gum disease
5. Keep your tongue clean.
The tongue is another organ that should be cleaned at all times. Currently, there are many tongue cleaning devices available. After every brushing, we must also clean the tongue to reduce bacteria on the tongue and help eliminate bad breath.
