What are braces color elastics?
O-rings (ligature ties) are part of braces that hold the archwire to the brackets, letting the wire move teeth in the desired direction.
What do braces elastics do?
They tie brackets to the wire to control tooth alignment per the treatment plan. Elastics wear out over time and are changed every 1–2 months depending on type; neglecting them can slow results.
How many types of elastics are there?
