What is a dental bridge, and who is it for?
A dental bridge is a fixed replacement for one or more missing teeth. The teeth on either side of the gap are shaped as anchors, then crowns are joined together as a single unit to close the gap — so you chew naturally, with nothing to remove and clean like a removable denture.
The dentist assesses the strength of the anchor teeth and the bone from your X-rays before planning. The price is counted by the number of joined units (usually one crown per tooth). It typically takes 2–3 visits to cement the permanent bridge.
Leaving a gap too long affects more than you think
The sooner you close the gap, the more of your bite and neighbouring teeth you preserve.

What is a dental bridge?
A dental bridge is a fixed replacement for one or more missing teeth. The teeth either side of the gap are shaped as anchors and joined crowns close the gap as one unit — so you chew naturally with nothing to remove and clean.
Bridge vs implant vs removable denture
Bridge — fixed and finished fast, but the neighbouring teeth must be shaped as anchors.
Implant — fixed with no grinding of neighbours, but takes longer.
Removable denture — economical and removable, but less firm.
How to choose the bridge material
Porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) — strong and great value, for molars under heavy load.
All-ceramic — natural-looking and metal-free, ideal for front teeth.
How the price is worked out
The price is counted by the number of joined units (usually one crown per tooth) and the material; a 3-unit bridge starts from around 30,000 THB. The dentist confirms the full cost before starting, with 0% instalments available.
How to care for a bridge so it lasts
Use a floss threader to clean under the pontic alongside normal brushing, and come for check-ups and scaling on schedule to keep the anchor teeth and gums healthy.
